Mendota Products was founded in 1994 and has remained a family-owned company through its entire history, with Robin Cady serving as president and Steve Cady as vice president. From the start, the company set out to produce a better braided dog lead — one that could handle the demands of working gun dog trainers without sacrificing the feel and look that serious field handlers expect.
