How We Earn Revenue

Truly American Made ("we," "us," "our") is a participant in affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to retail partners. Specifically, we participate in:

• ★Amazon Associates Program — As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

What This Means for You

When you click on a product link on our site and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission. This comes at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you use our affiliate link or go directly to the retailer's website.

Editorial Independence

Our affiliate relationships do not influence which products we list, where they appear, or what American Score they receive. Every product on our site must meet the same independent verification criteria regardless of whether we earn a commission on it.

• ★Each product must achieve an American Score of 70% or higher under our six-signal evidence model
• ★Each verification decision is logged with the underlying evidence (factory location, brand-website claim, listing language, etc.)
• ★Brands with significant overseas production (e.g., the Carhartt jeans line, Woolrich's Italy-made apparel) are flagged or hidden — even when they generate strong affiliate revenue
• ★We accept zero paid placement. Brands cannot pay to be listed, ranked higher, or featured.

Many certified brands are listed without any affiliate revenue attached because they aren't available through our retail partners. We list them anyway when their American manufacturing evidence holds up. Removing them just because we don't earn on them would defeat the point of the site.

What We Don't Do

• ✗No sponsored content. No paid posts, no pay-to-play rankings, no “featured brand” slots that brands can buy.
• ✗No price tracking. We don't display prices on the site (Amazon Associates compliance + freshness reasons), so price-based comparisons aren't a factor in our editorial choices.
• ✗No data sales. We don't sell visitor data. The site has no marketing pixels, no third-party trackers, and no email harvesting beyond our explicit-opt-in newsletter.
• ✗No undisclosed relationships. If our editorial position on a brand ever shifts because of a commercial relationship, we'll say so plainly here. As of this writing, none have.

"Made in USA" Claims

All "Made in USA" claims on this site are based on our own research. When we state a product is "Verified Made in USA," we mean it has passed our multi-step verification process, which includes checking factory locations, brand websites, product listings, and other publicly available sources. We assign a American Score based on the strength of evidence.

We do not manufacture, sell, or ship any products. We are an information resource that helps consumers find products we believe are genuinely American-made based on our research.

While we strive to keep all product information current, prices, availability, and product details may change. We update our information regularly but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy. Always verify current pricing and availability on the retailer's website before making a purchase.
