In 2010 Mike James could no longer find the American-made over-the-calf dress socks he had worn for years. He started Boardroom Socks with his wife Carol and their son Nathan. The company is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and says it makes its socks in North Carolina.
The line is dress socks in over-the-calf and mid-calf lengths, in merino wool and cotton, plus patterned styles and gift boxes.
