Car care is split between brands that name their plant and brands that don't. Lucas Oil makes its additives and oils at a plant in Corydon, Indiana. Stoner Car Care makes Invisible Glass and its other chemicals in Quarryville, Pennsylvania. Collinite has made waxes in Utica, New York since 1936, and Malco makes washes and polishes in Ohio.

Some of the best-known names don't say. Meguiar's is based in Irvine, California and owned by 3M, and Mothers is based in Huntington Beach, California, but neither says on its own site where its products are made. For floor liners, WeatherTech makes its liners on its Bolingbrook, Illinois campus, and Husky Liners makes its liners in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
