In response, Bobbie opened a dedicated manufacturing plant in Heath, Ohio in summer 2023 — the first new infant formula manufacturing plant constructed in the United States since the 1980s. The facility represents a fundamental investment in domestic production capacity for a product category where secure domestic manufacturing matters enormously to families.

Bobbie's formulas are USDA Organic, Non-GMO, and formulated to match the protein ratio of breast milk — a nutritional approach modeled after European infant formula standards that prioritize casein-to-whey ratios aligned with human milk. European formulas, particularly German and Dutch versions, became popular among American parents in the years before Bobbie launched precisely because domestic alternatives didn't match the nutritional profile they preferred.
