Forrest saw blades, including the Woodworker II, Chop Master and Duraline lines, are made in the United States. Forrest's About page states "we insist that every blade and dado be made in the U.S. by skilled workers who share our commitment to quality," and its FAQ says Forrest has built premium carbide-tipped circular saw blades "for over 75 years."

What changed recently is where the company is based. Massachusetts saw blade company Sharp Tool acquired Forrest Manufacturing in September 2025, and Forrest's own site now says its New Jersey location "is now closed" and lists 7 Bonazzoli Ave, Hudson, MA as its address. Older references to blades made in Clifton, New Jersey describe the pre-2025 operation.

About Forrest Mfg
Forrest makes carbide-tipped saw blades and dado sets, including the Woodworker II, in the United States. Sharp Tool of Hudson, Massachusetts, bought the company in 2025 and the New Jersey shop has closed.
Albert Forrest's blade company
On March 15, 1946, Albert Walter Forrest incorporated the A. W. Forrest Manufacturing Company. The company worked in Clifton, New Jersey, from 1989 until 2025, and most older reviews describe blades made there.
Its best-known blade is the Woodworker II, a 10-inch general-purpose table saw blade sold in 40- and 80-tooth versions. The line also includes the Chop Master for sliding miter saws, the Duraline Hi-AT for melamine and plastic laminates, a 7-1/4 inch circular saw version of the Woodworker II, and dado sets. Forrest has long offered a resharpening service for its own blades.
The move to Massachusetts
In September 2025 Sharp Tool, a Massachusetts saw blade company, acquired Forrest Manufacturing. Forrest's site now says the New Jersey location is closed and lists 7 Robert Bonazzoli Avenue, Hudson, Massachusetts, as its address, with sharpening handled through a Sharp Tool email address.
The About page still says every blade and dado is made in the U.S. It does not say which plant makes each blade today, so treat a Clifton reference on older packaging or listings as history rather than the current address.
