About Pet Factory
Pet Factory has been manufacturing 100% USA Made beefhide dog chews in Illinois for decades, sourcing hides from American-raised, corn-fed cattle to produce rawhide treats without artificial preservatives.
Heritage & History
Pet Factory has operated as one of America's premier manufacturers of USA-sourced beefhide chews since its founding in 1989 in the Mundelein, Illinois area. At a time when most rawhide production moved to South America and Asia, Pet Factory remained committed to American cattle hides and domestic manufacturing — a distinction that has become increasingly meaningful to pet owners concerned about import quality and sourcing transparency.
The company sources hides exclusively from American-raised, corn-fed cattle, processes them domestically, and produces a full range of chew products from small rolls and chips to large knotted bones. Every package carries the 100% Made in USA designation backed by American cattle sourcing.
100% USA Made Beefhide
Pet Factory's manufacturing process uses hides from cattle raised on American farms and feedlots, cleaned and processed at domestic facilities without artificial preservatives or coloring agents. The resulting chews are protein-rich, digestible, and free from the quality control uncertainties that have affected imported rawhide products.
The product line spans multiple sizes and formats — chip rolls, knotted bones, braided sticks, donuts, and plain rolls — giving owners options appropriate for different dog sizes and chewing styles. Resealable packaging keeps unused portions fresh. For owners who want rawhide chews but are concerned about the sourcing and manufacturing practices behind imported products, Pet Factory's American production provides a clear alternative.
