About Source Naturals
Source Naturals has formulated and manufactured dietary supplements in Scotts Valley, California since 1982, pioneering the BioAlignment nutritional approach and developing the Wellness Formula supplement that has become a household staple for natural health advocates.
Heritage and History
Source Naturals was founded in 1982 by Ira Goldberg in Scotts Valley, California, with a focus on developing comprehensive supplement formulas based on the principle that multiple nutrients working synergistically produce better results than individual high-dose supplements. The BioAlignment philosophy — aligning nutrient intake with the body's complex biological systems — guided product development from the beginning.
Wellness Formula, the brand's flagship product for immune and respiratory support, became one of the best-selling supplements in natural food stores throughout the 1990s and 2000s. The comprehensive formula — combining herbs, vitamins, and antioxidants in a single product — resonated with health-conscious consumers who wanted a convenient, comprehensive supplement.
