Verification Notes
Eldon Industries has manufactured desk accessories and office organizers in the USA since the 1940s. Made at domestic facilities. Long-standing American manufacturer of desk organization and office accessory products. unverifiable: eldon.com is nVent Eldon (electrical enclosures), unrelated to the Eldon desk-accessory line (a Newell/Rolodex office brand). No page by the office-products brand states where it is made; the live listing gives no origin. Our record (Shelbyville TN, 'since 1940s', ABS 3-tier tray) is unsupported, and the listing is a wire-mesh tray, not the 3-tier ABS tray our description claims. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000E7DEA2 "Eldon 62555 Nestable Mesh Stacking Side Load Letter Tray Wire,Black"

How we verified Eldon
Most recent check: Oct 17, 2026
From the brand's website
We re-read eldon.com on Sep 29, 2026 and did not find an explicit statement about where its products are made. This page relies on the other evidence below.Store listings
We read the live store listing for 1 of the 1 Eldon product on this page (most recently Oct 17, 2026). None of them states where the product is made, so these products rely on the brand-level evidence above.
These checks are run by our software on a schedule: brand websites are re-read about every three weeks, store listings weekly, and news is scanned monthly. Every flag is checked against its original source before anything on this page changes. How the American Score works.

American-Made Finds
One maker's story, the brands newly listed here, and a few US-made picks, every Thursday.
Eldon was founded in 1940 and makes the products listed here in Shelbyville, TN. The site lists 1 verified American-made Eldon product.
No origin statement from the brand
The eldon.com domain belongs to nVent Eldon, a maker of electrical enclosures that has nothing to do with the desk-tray line. We found no website for the office-products brand, and no page from it that names a factory or a country of manufacture. Earlier versions of this page said Eldon trays were made in Shelbyville, Tennessee, and that the company had made desk accessories in the USA since the 1940s. We could not support either claim, so we have removed them.
The tray we list
The Eldon tray we list is the 62555 nestable side-load letter tray in black wire mesh. Its store listing gives no country of origin. If you need a US-made letter tray, check the carton or ask the seller before you order this one.
