Tom Orr started Orrco after World War II as a small screw machine shop in a Pittsburgh garage. The company now works out of a 45,000 square foot plant at 190 Orr Road in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, running CNC mill-turn and multi-spindle machines.
Most of its work is contract machining. Orrco turns parts from brass, steel, aluminum, stainless steel, copper and plastic for hydraulic, mining, medical, refrigeration valve and electronics customers, and it lists lawn and garden among the applications its parts go into.
