A designer's skillet from Allentown
Designer Peter Huntley started Stargazer in 2015 after years of creating products for other brands. The company sells 10.5-inch and 12-inch skillets, a 13.5-inch braiser, matching lids and a chain mail scrubber, and ships orders from Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Cast at a foundry, finished in Pennsylvania
Stargazer's FAQ says its skillets are "made entirely here in the United States," with the last step done at its Lehigh Valley headquarters, where they are finished by hand. Its How It's Made page describes the sequence: each pan is cast at a foundry from domestically sourced, mostly recycled iron, then the cooking surface is CNC machined smooth and the pan is ground and finished by hand.
The company does not name the foundry or say where it is, so the casting happens in the US but not necessarily in Pennsylvania. The braiser and the chain mail scrubber pages each carry their own "Made in USA" line.
