Verification Notes
Office organization products manufacturer since 1893. Made in USA office products, Ogdensburg, NY manufacturing. claim-partial (moderate): Brand's own post says 'many' (not all) Wilson Jones binders are made at ACCO's Booneville, MS plant; ACCO moved three-ring-binder manufacturing from Ogdensburg NY to Booneville in 2019 (syracuse.com, Dec 2019) and ACCO sources a large share of its range from lower-cost countries. wilsonjones.com unreachable (connect timeout on 4 fingerprints). None of our 4 live Amazon listings carries an origin line, so no product is confirmed US- or foreign-made. Our record's 'Ogdensburg, NY manufacturing' note is obsolete. Binders from Booneville, Mississippi
Wilson Jones belongs to ACCO Brands. In 2019 ACCO moved its three-ring binder manufacturing from Ogdensburg, New York to its plant in Booneville, Mississippi. A Wilson Jones post about a worker at that plant describes it as the place "where we make many Wilson Jones binders you see every day."
The word many matters. ACCO sources a large share of its office products from lower-cost countries, and we could not reach the Wilson Jones website to check individual items.
What we can and cannot confirm
We list four Wilson Jones Heavy Duty binders: a 3-inch and a 1.5-inch D-ring, and 2-inch and 3-inch round-ring view binders. None of their store listings states where the binder is made, so they rest on the brand-level Booneville evidence rather than a product label.
If origin matters to you, check the back cover or the box. A binder without a made in USA line should be treated as unconfirmed.
