About DECKED
DECKED engineers and manufactures truck bed storage systems and drawer units in Defiance, Ohio, bringing American-made organization solutions to pickup truck owners who demand durability and security.
Heritage & History
DECKED was founded in 2013 by two outdoor enthusiasts who wanted a better way to organize their truck beds without sacrificing cargo space. After years of improvised solutions — loose gear sliding around during transit, tools buried under camping equipment — they set out to engineer a purpose-built storage system that would keep everything organized, protected, and accessible from outside the truck.
The company chose Defiance, Ohio as its manufacturing home, building a facility that produces the full DECKED system from domestically sourced materials. The system launched to immediate acclaim from contractors, overlanders, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts who had long wanted a truck bed organization solution that was durable enough for professional use. DECKED has since expanded from truck beds to freestanding tool storage units and cargo van systems.
Built in Defiance, Ohio
Every DECKED Truck Bed Storage System is manufactured in Defiance, Ohio from high-density polyethylene and steel components. The system installs in truck beds without drilling or permanent modification, creating a weatherproof platform that supports up to 2,000 pounds on top while providing two full-length drawers beneath — each capable of holding 200 pounds and accessible from either side of the truck.
DECKED's tool chest lineup extends the brand's storage philosophy to stationary workshop and garage settings: heavy-gauge steel boxes with powder-coat finish, ball-bearing drawer slides, and full-extension drawers that hold 100 pounds each. The D-Co tool chest line is designed and assembled in the USA. Whether on a truck or in a shop, DECKED products are engineered for the demands of people who actually work for a living.
