Dri Mark Products opened its doors in Mount Vernon, New York, in 1958. In the early 1970s Louis Reichmann purchased the company and began manufacturing instant-dry markers in the United States.
In 1991 Dri Mark purchased the patent for the first counterfeit detector pen, and that pen became the product the company is known for. Today it sells counterfeit detection pens and devices alongside custom-manufactured markers for other brands.
Made in New York
Dri Mark's Long Island facility handles in-house molding, manufacturing, assembly, imprinting and production of specialty markers and inks. The company describes itself as the original patent holder and only USA manufacturer of counterfeit detector pens.
The company says it is proud to support the American workforce by having its markers manufactured and shipped from the Long Island facility, and it has been producing American-made products for more than 60 years.
