Mostly yes
First Team's basketball goals are built in Hutchinson, Kansas, where the company was founded in 1996. Its basketball goals page answers the question directly: "Are First Team basketball goals made in the USA? Yes. First Team basketball goals are manufactured in Hutchinson, Kansas." Its rims page says the FT186 and FT187 flex rims are "manufactured in the USA."
| Product line | Made in | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Basketball goals (portable, in-ground, wall mount, roof mount, poolside) | Hutchinson, KS | Made in USA |
| Basketball rims (FT186 and FT187 flex rims named) | USA | Made in USA |
| Components used in finished products | US and imported | Mixed |
The exception is parts. First Team says "Most of our products are made in America with domestic and imported components," and its About page says "The majority of what we sell is manufactured in Kansas. We design, assemble, and test in our Hutchinson, Kansas, facility." So the goals are American-built, but not every component inside them is American-made, and not every item First Team sells is made in Kansas.
