About Poorboy's World
Poorboy's World formulates and manufactures premium car care products in Florida, offering enthusiast-grade detailing chemicals that rival professional detailer products at consumer-accessible prices.
Heritage & History
Poorboy's World was founded in Florida by detailing enthusiasts who believed that professional-grade car care chemicals should be available outside the specialty shop market. The brand built a devoted following among car enthusiasts on detailing forums throughout the 2000s, earning recognition for product performance that consistently exceeded its price point.
The brand name reflects its origins as a budget-friendly alternative to premium European detailing brands, but the products have competed favorably in independent testing against products costing several times more. Made in Florida by people who genuinely care about the results on their own vehicles.
Made in Florida
Poorboy's World car care products are manufactured in Florida, formulated in small batches compared to mass-market brands. The product line includes wash soaps, waxes, polymer sealants, interior cleaners, tire dressings, and quick detailers — covering every stage of a thorough vehicle detail.
The EX sealant is perhaps the brand's most recognized product, offering protection that outlasts most carnauba waxes at a fraction of the cost. The Black Hole show glaze developed a cult following among dark-colored car owners. Poorboy's World remains an American formulation company making products for people who take detailing seriously.
