Escalade, Inc., a sporting goods maker founded in 1927 and headquartered in Evansville, Indiana, bought US Weight in 2001. The product range has since moved beyond fitness to tractor wheel weights, suitcase and tiller weights, umbrella bases, canopy weights, crowd-control stanchions and plastic safety chain.
