About United States Playing Card Company
The United States Playing Card Company has been printing Bicycle and Aviator brand playing cards in the United States since 1867, making it the most recognized American playing card manufacturer with over 150 years of continuous production.
America's Playing Card Maker Since 1867
The United States Playing Card Company was founded in 1867 and has printed playing cards continuously in the United States for over 155 years. The company's Bicycle brand is the most recognized playing card name in America, trusted by casual players and professional card handlers alike. Bicycle cards are the standard for magic, cardistry, and poker — the benchmark against which other cards are measured.
USPC's manufacturing expertise — paper stock formulation, air-cushion finish printing, card-handling properties — represents accumulated institutional knowledge that is difficult to replicate. The precise feel of a Bicycle card when shuffled or fanned is not accidental; it is the product of over a century of refinement.
The Bicycle Brand Legacy
Bicycle playing cards have been manufactured domestically since 1885, and the Rider Back design introduced in that year has been in continuous production ever since. The air-cushion finish applied during printing gives Bicycle cards their characteristic smoothness and the ability to fan, spread, and spring reliably — properties that matter to card players and performers who handle cards for hours.
Beyond Bicycle, USPC's Aviator brand uses a similar quality standard with an aviation-themed Ace of Spades that has become a collector's item. For buyers who want playing cards made in America from a manufacturer with unmatched domestic heritage, the USPC brands are the clear choice.
